June 20, 2025 — For years, the PEF Membership Benefits Program (PEF MBP) has offered Family and Friends Days at amusement parks. This year, PEF MBP is offering not only a Family and Friends Day in July, but a special Family and Friends Carnival Cruise setting sail in November.
The first of the two events takes place at Six Flags at Darien Lake on July 19. Just like previous events, the event grants members access to the theme park and water park, as well as a lunch buffet and parking—all for just $30. Members and retirees can purchase up to 4 tickets at the $30 price.
“From very young children to teenagers and adults, it’s a full day of fun for all at a very affordable price,” says Stephanie McLean-Beathley, PEF MBP Administrator. “The rides, water park, and especially the all-you-can-eat buffet lunch, have been big crowd pleasers for our members, retirees, and their families. The event takes place rain or shine, and we have our fingers crossed for beautiful weather on July 19th“
PEF MBP also offers souvenir bottles for an additional cost of $10.79 that allows for free soft drinks and water refills throughout the park during your visit. Tickets are on sale online through July 7. Click here to purchase.
If you’re looking for a new way to enjoy the sun and fun, PEF MBP is also offering a four-day Carnival Cruise Nov. 24-28, 2025, setting sail from Port Canaveral in Orlando and cruising the Atlantic with stops at Nassau and Celebration Key. This is the first time PEF MBP is offering this Family and Friends Cruise.
“We are very excited to be offering something different for our members and retirees and we hope everyone takes a look at this fantastic opportunity for a very different, relaxing, and sunny way to spend their upcoming Thanksgiving holiday,” said McLean-Beathley.
Cabins start at $377 per person and include suites with 24-hour room service, plenty of nightlife and daytime activities onboard and off the ship, and a wide array of dining options with award-winning full-service restaurants.
