The child was returned safely to the Clinton County Department of Social Services.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When Reentry Manager <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Stacey Dorsey<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, in the Manhattan\/Staten Island Region, observed an unknown male screaming toward the windows of the office for his parole officer to come and help him, she asked him what was wrong.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The man said he needed his parole officer to take him to the hospital and he did not want to hurt himself.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cDorsey began speaking with the individual, trying to calm him down as he was in obvious distress,\u201d DOCCS stated. \u201c[She] persuaded him to stop hurting himself. Dorsey\u2019s quick thinking and compassionate intervention stopped a distressed releasee from severely harming himself and got him the help that he so desperately needed.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">DOCCS Acting Commissioner Anthony J.
