Members from PEF Region 3 marched in the city\u2019s parade on July 20 alongside community members, legislators, and other unions.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Region 3 has been attending the Pride Parade in Rochester since 2014, making this their 10<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> year. More than 20 PEF members and their families took to the streets with rainbow PEF shirts, hats and flower crowns to share in the celebration and show their support as a union family.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Members marched, shook hands, and took photos with State Senator Samra Brouk, State Senator Jeremy Cooney, State Assemblywoman Jen Lundsford, State Assemblywoman Sarah Clark, and State Assemblyman Harry Bronson, who all attended the event.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Region 3 Coordinator Leisa Abraham said she loves participating in the event and expects Region 3 will always have a place in the celebration.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cI find it to be one of the more joyful community events to participate in,\u201d Abraham said. \u201cIt\u2019s such a colorful event, a freeing event, and you are accepted no matter who you are!
