I hope as a country we can do better than that. That\u2019s why it\u2019s so important that we have our Veterans\u2019 Committee. We need the Veterans\u2019 Committee, not just symbolically, but also to make sure the state does its job hiring and promoting veterans.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Veterans\u2019 Committee Chairman David Krobe said the committee is actively reaching out to members and working to educate them on resources available to them for issues ranging from mental health to housing.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cAcross the world, veterans are becoming more visible,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The PEF Veterans\u2019 Committee has also been helping create veterans\u2019 memorials, working toward completing a fifth memorial in a small town outside Buffalo.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The committee reports to the president and is charged with reviewing issues concerning veterans in PEF and making recommendations to the president.
