October 29, 2024 —<\/em> PEF members in the New York City area who are interested in pursuing a degree or certificate in various fields, from healthcare leadership to public administration to labor relations, can attend an upcoming virtual information session with the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies (SLU).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Remaining sessions are from 6 to 7 p.m. via Zoom on November 12, and December 11. You can register, here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

SLU offers undergraduate and graduate degrees that are designed to meet the needs of working adults as well as traditional-age college students who seek to learn more about the challenges confronting poor and working-class populations in the workplace and in the community.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It also collaborates with other units of CUNY to offer a range of college-credit programs designed to give workers the academic and technical skills they need for professional advancement<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
