\"PEFAugust 8, 2025 —<\/em> One vacant seat on the PEF Executive Board has been filled, and four are heading to balloting after the July 2025 Special Election cycle.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Biswajit Datta was elected to <\/span>Seat 177<\/span><\/b>, representing certain members at the Office of Information Technology Services.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seat 1<\/span><\/b>, representing certain members at Ag & Markets; <\/span>Seat 9<\/span><\/b>, representing certain members at the Office of State Comptroller; <\/span>Seat 245<\/span><\/b>, representing certain members at the Department of Labor; and <\/span>Seat 260<\/span><\/b>, representing certain members at the Office of Mental Health, head to balloting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For those in contested elections, ballots will be mailed on Aug. 18, 2025, from the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and must be returned to the address listed on the return envelope no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 9, 2025. Returned in this case means, in hand, not date mailed or postmarked. Ballots will be counted starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 10, 2025, by AAA in New York City.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elections for<\/span> Seat 15<\/span><\/b> (Civil Service),<\/span> Seat 127<\/span><\/b> (Homeland Security), <\/span>Seat 161<\/span><\/b> (Executive), <\/span>Seat 180<\/span><\/b> (Department of Health), <\/span>Seat 220<\/span><\/b> (Workers Compensation Board) and <\/span>Seat 460<\/span><\/b> (Department of State) will be run in October.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
