\"48thMay 21, 2026 —<\/em> The 48<\/span>th<\/span>\u202fAnnual PEF Convention is set for October 18-21, 2026, in Niagara Falls.\u00a0Delegate\u00a0elections are underway for contested seats, but the union expects another large turnout this year. The final delegate list will be published on the\u202f<\/span>PEF website<\/span><\/a>\u202f<\/span><\/a>by May 29.\u202f<\/span><\/p>\n

At Convention, delegates will debate,\u00a0possibly amend, and eventually approve the union\u2019s State and Federal Legislative Agendas that help guide PEF\u2019s advocacy. Before then, all members are invited to contribute to the agendas.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the start of a critical process,\u201d said PEF Vice President and Statewide Political Action Committee Chair Randi DiAntonio. \u201cPEF is a member-driven union, and this is a chance for any member to suggest new agenda items or make changes to items already in the agenda. These agendas really do govern a lot of what the union will\u00a0seek\u00a0to\u00a0accomplish\u00a0in the year ahead.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Each year, VP DiAntonio presents the agendas to the Convention body and chairs the debate.\u202f<\/span>Members may\u00a0read through\u00a0the current\u202f<\/span>state<\/span><\/a>\u202fand\u202f<\/span>federal<\/span><\/a>\u202fagendas and\u00a0submit\u00a0recommended changes for consideration to Danielle Blue in the PEF Legislative Office at\u202f<\/span>Danielle.Blue@pef.org<\/span><\/a>.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
