December 21, 2023 — During the month of December, PEF held a food donation drive to support the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, in conjunction with the Capital District Area Labor Foundation (CDALF).
Spearheaded by PEF Executive Assistant to the President, Susan Marr, the drive brought in enough food to fill six boxes. On Dec. 14, a Teamsters truck rolled into the parking lot at PEF Headquarters in Latham to collect the donated goods.
CDALF then delivered the truck full of donations to the Regional Food Bank the following day.
