August 21, 2026 — Every year, Convention host regions raise funds for a local charity – this year, PEF Region 1 Coordinator Vinny Cicatello selected the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York, dedicated to reducing financial stress for families of hospitalized children.
The Ronald McDonald House calls itself a “home away from home” for families and a friendly place for families to receive care and support steps away from their children’s hospital room.
In 2025, the Buffalo organization provided 2,102 guest nights, served more than 20,000 visitors in the Family Lodge at Golisano Children’s Hospital, and volunteers dedicated 11,387 hours to families in need.
The 48th Annual PEF Convention will be held Oct. 18-21, 2026, in Niagara Falls.
