February 25, 2026 — Region 3 members are invited to the annual PEF Region 3 Legislative Breakfast, from 9 to 11 a.m. March 14 at the Regional Office, 255 East Ave., Rochester.
With a new contract being negotiated and a multi-union push for more pension reform, this is a perfect time to express your thoughts and concerns to our elected representatives as both their constituents and as employees of New York State. Following the breakfast, the Region will participate in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which begins promptly at 12:30 pm.

Region 4 members who wish to march in the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Day Parade are meeting at the Syracuse Teachers’ Association on Saturday, March 14, at 9: 30 a.m. STA is located at 450 West Kirkpatrick Street. Members will then walk downtown to line up for the parade, which starts at Noon. Families are invited! Please RSVP with the Region 4 office at (315) 471-2311.
Region 5 will participate in the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 7 in Binghamton.
Staging will begin at 12:30 p.m. at Mirabito Stadium parking lot, 211 Henry St., Binghamton, and the parade will step off at 1:30 p.m.

In Region 8, PEF will have a table at the annual American-Irish Legislators Society St. Patrick’s Dinner on March 9 at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall, 375 Ontario St., Albany.
